HAY OPERATION MANAGEMENT

Hay management can be tedious and requires a grower's attention to details. Keeping track of the details about each cutting, field or bale can be difficult or next to impossible to manage. Bale Link will collect these details automatically, and stores them on the Bale Link website to be able to analyze anytime, even as balers are running in the field.

Available in North America

OVERVIEW

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Hay production is challenging to manage, from overseeing fields to inventory and logistics. Attention to detail can make the difference between profit and loss. Bale Link seamlessly collects these details for analysis at any time, even while balers are in the field. Bale Link streamlines hay production logistics while enhancing profitability for users. It automatically stores data collected by your baler, which can be viewed on the Bale Link webpage. This data is accessible in real-time as you are baling or can be used later to analyze and generate custom reports. All of this information can be used by the grower to help make more informed decisions.

QUICK GUIDE

STEPS TO CONNECT BALE LINK

1. Account Registration

Create your Bale Link account for an organization (farm). This account holder has the unique ability to manage the users and balers of the organization. The email used for the registration of this account is important when it will come to automatically authenticating balers later.

2. Connect Telemetry Registration

Before doing anything else in Bale Link, the AGCO Connect telemetry solution on the baler must be registered, activated, and functioning. The email that is tied to your Connect registration for the baler/account needs to be the same as one used when creating your Bale Link account.

Once the account holder can see the applicable baler VINs in their Connect app, then they can proceed to the next step. The Connect Telemetry registration must be completed by your local AGCO dealer.

3. Add New Baler

The account holder now can go into their Baler Settings and Add New Baler(s). When trying to add a VIN to an account, Bale Link will automatically check and verify the that one of the following is true. If one of these do not match, adding the new baler will fail.

• The email registration of the Connect telemetry solution matches the email registration of the Bale Link master account holder.

• The email registration of the Connect telemetry solution matches one of the emails in the authorized emails list.

4. Verify ACM Status and Expiration

When a baler is successfully added to the account, verify that the ACM status is confirmed, and the ACM Subscription Expires at a date desired in the future. These are both displayed in the Baler Settings

• The email registration of the Connect telemetry solution matches one of the emails in the authorized emails list.

5. Bale Link Activation

To see bale information produced for the authorized balers, the Bale Link status icon must appear Active. If the baler is not active, there may be an issue with the ACM or baler connection.

6. Enjoy Bale Link

Now that the baler(s) are active, you can now manage users and the data from the machines.
