QUICK GUIDE
HOW TO USE
The following quick start steps do not replace the operating instructions, they only serve as a short overview. Please read the operater manual before using for the first time and comply with the safety regulations.
Preparation
• Put the forks of the fork lift truck fully into the front side of the tool.
• Use the chain and hook to secure the tool to the to the fork lift truck.
Dismantling - Wheel weights
• Keep the forks level and slowly install the tool in the centre of the wheel weight.
• Slowly raise the forks on the fork lift truck. Make sure that only the rollers engage with the wheel weight.
• Remove the 3 fasteners.
• Remove carefully the wheel weight out of the rim.
Installing - Wheel weights
• Rotate the wheel weight to align the mounting holes in the wheel weight with the mounting holes in the wheel.
• Install the wheel weight to the carrier in the rim of the machine.
• Install the 3 fasteners.
• Torque the 3 fasteners to the correct specification.
• Lower the forks of the forklift truck to disengage the tool form the wheel weight.
• Reverse the fork lift truck to remove the tool from the machine.
SAFETY
• Never use a tool that is untested or has not had its routine inspection.
• For safe and comfortable handling of the wheel weight tool, always use a flat and solid surface.
• Always use the chain and hook to secure the tool to the fork lift truck.
• Make sure that the danger zones are clear before moving the wheel weight. Make sure that no person enters the danger zone.
• Never move under suspended loads.
• Be very careful when rotating the wheel weights. There is a risk of trapping or crushing your fingers.
• When inserting the wheel weight, do not hit the tire valve.
• When inserting the wheel weight, do not hit the tire pressure control system.

Lifting all Fendt wheel weights from 200 kg up to 1250 kg. Wheel weights from other manufacturers can also be handled. The prerequisites here are a cylindrical inner diameter with a minimum diameter of 400 mm >> 15,75". And a minimum gap of 15 mm >> 0,59" between the carrier plate and the wheel weight.

FAQ's
- Can I only use the lifting device for Fendt wheel weights?
No, the lifting device can accommodate different wheel weights weighing up to 1,250 kilograms with an internal diameter of at least 400 millimetres.
- How is the lifting tool picked up?
The tool is picked up with a pallet fork and secured via the pallet fork using a chain. The wheel weight is smoothly adjusted to the hole pattern in the rim via heavy-duty rollers.
- Can the lifting device also be used with a crane?
No, it can currently only be used with a pallet fork.
- Is the lifting device maintenance-free?
Yes.
- Can the lifting device also be used for tractors with bar axles?
No.
- Is there also a rack for stowing wheel weights?
Not yet! Is in planning.
